The Science / Pre-Engineering Magnet is designed for students interested in engineering, robotics, aviation, and media technology, and is proudly supported through a partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a global leader in aviation and aerospace education. This program emphasizes the engineering design process, technical skills, and applied problem-solving through hands-on, project-based experiences. Students explore how systems are designed, built, tested, and improved, using real tools and technology to solve authentic challenges aligned to real-world engineering and aerospace applications. The program builds strong foundations in engineering thinking, coding, mechanics, and digital production while fostering teamwork, innovation, and persistence. Through exposure to industry-aligned practices and aerospace-focused learning, students leave prepared for high school engineering pathways, STEM academies, and future careers in engineering, aerospace, robotics, and technical media fields.
