Greetings Hawks Families,

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new 6th Grade Administrator at McNicol Middle School. With 11 years' experience in education, I have held multiple positions that include elementary teacher, 6-8 middle school teacher, and Literacy Coach. Our theme for this year is "One Band, One Sound, One McNicol: United in Purpose, Unstoppable in Progress.” I bring a steadfast dedication to student success and a passion for cultivating a positive school culture where every student feels valued and empowered to reach their greatest potential. As students navigate through our school, it is important to celebrate differences while also fostering a sense of community and belonging by demonstrating the “McNicol Five B’s”- Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Safe, Be a Learner, and Be Kind.

As an advocate for all students, I am dedicated to ensuring that each child receives the support and resources they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in building a strong partnership between home and school, and I am eager to work closely with families to support our students' growth and development.

This middle school journey will be filled with student learning and achievement. My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment that not only challenges our students but empowers them to be life-long learners. My door is always open, and I am here to collaborate and answer any questions.

Greetings McNicol Middle School Community!

It is with great excitement and purpose that I welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year at McNicol Middle School. As the Assistant Principal supporting 7th grade, I am honored to be part of a school that values academic excellence, personal growth, and a strong sense of community. Our schoolwide theme this year, "One Band. One Sound. One McNicol," captures the spirit of unity, collaboration, and shared commitment that defines who we are. Just as each section in a band plays a unique role in creating beautiful sounds, every student, teacher, staff member, and family plays an essential part in the success of our school.

This year, we remain dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where all students are challenged, supported, and celebrated. I look forward to working alongside families, teachers, and community partners to ensure our students have every opportunity to thrive academically and socially. Let’s move forward together with purpose and pride, staying focused on what matters most—student growth, strong relationships, and excellence in all we do.
